What this site is for

Fertility treatment is written about almost entirely from the patient’s side, and for good reason. What’s missing is what it does to the man going through it. That gap is the whole reason this site exists.

It’s for any man in a fertility journey. It doesn’t matter whose diagnosis it is, whether it’s yours, your partner’s, both, or whether anyone ever gets a diagnosis at all. In our case no one was ever identified as the problem, and that turned out to change nothing about how hard it was.

Where to go depending on where you are

• You just started, or testing hasn’t happened yet. Read the retrospective first. It covers the whole arc so you know roughly what’s coming.
• You’re mid-cycle and overwhelmed. Skip to the sections on communication and staying functional at work. You don’t need the whole history right now.
• You just had a failed cycle or a loss. I’m sorry. There isn’t a shortcut here. Read when you’re ready, not before.
